Oingo Boingo Tribute

Having visited many great websites about Oingo Boingo and Danny Elfman, I decided to post some pictures and other related items that I had safely stored away in my Boingo treasure chest and that I hadn't seen on anyone else's page.

Band History

Oingo Boingo was formed in 1972 by Richard Elfman as The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, initially a performance art troupe. By 1979, Danny Elfman took over and transformed it into a rock band, shortening the name to Oingo Boingo. They gained a cult following in the '80s with hits like "Weird Science" and "Dead Man's Party," blending new wave, ska, and punk with theatrical flair. The band disbanded in 1995 after a legendary Halloween farewell show, leaving a lasting legacy in alternative music.
